Jaga Radiators

At the heart of all Jaga products is the company’s patented Low-H2O technology. A Jaga radiator with Low-H2O technology weighs only one tenth as much as a traditional steel panel radiator and contains 90% less water. This means that it has an extremely low thermal mass. Allowing it to react much faster. And deliver heating exactly when, and only when, it is needed with proven energy saving for the home owner.

By contrast, high mass systems cannot react appropriately to save energy due to their sheer thermal inertia. In fact in testing carried out by the Building Research Establishment (BRE), Jaga Low-H2O radiators were proven to react three times faster to fluctuations in temperature than traditional high mass steel panel radiators and reduce fuel consumption by 10%. Thereby reducing CO2 emissions and setting a new standard for sustainable heating.

Dimplex SmartRads

Unlike conventional radiators, SmartRad utilises a compact, high efficiency heat exchanger and intelligently controlled fan to assist convection and delivery of heat into the room. This significantly increases heat output, meaning that – despite much lower water temperatures – SmartRads are significantly more powerful and as result can be 31/2 times smaller than a conventional steel convector radiator with the same level of output. The integral electronic thermostat provides automatic control over fan speed output and room temperature stability. It has 4 times faster room heat up time than conventional radiators. Available in stylish compact design, with a choice of white metal, white glass or black glass finishes.
